2. Tell me about one thing you're wearing.
This denim jacket has a story to it. I bought it in a little vintage stall in Camden Market when I lived in London. I thought I got a bargain when I bought it for £20... then I walked two stalls down to find the same one for £10! Moral of the story: never go for the first offer in the markets.
3. What influences the way you dress?
Aside from the odd Pinterest board, I suppose some of my main influencers are others models I've lived with or done jobs with over the last few years. What I wear to castings and jobs is essentially what I wear every day. I try to keep things simple, clean and classic with just a bit of "artsy" thrown in there (I'll refrain from using the H-word*).
4. Tell me about the most versatile item of clothing you own.
I have an oversized white grandfather shirt with a very light pinstripe that I'll wear just about anywhere. I'm pretty certain my father bought it in Dunnes Stores circa '88, but it still serves me well today. I love pairing it with skinny black jeans and Converse for college, or simply under a nice crew neck sweatshirt if I'm going for a more formal, Sunday-lunch-with-the-family kind of a look!
5. Last question... designer or high street?
My heart says designer, but my head (and bank account) say high street! Joking aside, if it's something I feel comfortable and confident in, I don't mind where it's from. I think that's the essence of my wardrobe!
*the H-word is hipster.
Thanks so much to Shane for this week's interview. Getting the photos was a cinch (as I'm sure you can tell, he's a professional!) You can check him out further on his Instagram @shanegallagher_ or Twitter @shanegallagher_ :)
Last thing - what's the most versatile item of clothing you own? I'd say mine is my black wool coat from COS, it just goes with everything! Let us know in the comments below! Cathy
